Since launching the Drift Games Bash, we've had a large amount of questions about what to expect at the event. Now you can find answers to most of these questions below. We will also be keeping this list of questions updated as more questions come in.

When and where is the Drift Games Bash?
The event will take place in Mondello Park on October 7th & 8th, 2017. If you have purchased a weekend camping ticket, you will be able to arrive from 7.00pm on Friday, 6th October 2017 and can camp on both Friday and Saturday nights.
Where can I get spectator tickets?
Spectator tickets are available now from Mondello Park’s website (click here
) and are priced €30 for a weekend camping ticket (including Friday night camping also) and €15 for a Sunday-only spectator ticket. Kids under 12 go free.
Tickets will also be available at the gate in Mondello Park on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the event.
Can I get a Saturday-only spectator ticket?
No, unfortunately you must pay for either a weekend entry (€30) or a Sunday-only entry (€15) either online or at the gate if you wish to attend this event.
If you choose to pay on the gate at the event, you will be charged the €30 weekend rate if you pay on the gate before midnight on the Saturday. The only time at which the €15 rate will be available on the gate will be from 7.00am on the Sunday morning.
Is there an age limit for this event?
Sole attendees MUST be 18 years of age or older to camp at this event. If you are under 18, you must accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times if you are attending and/or camping at the event.
What about driver passes?
Driver entry tickets are VERY limited and are available to purchase now at a cost of €250.00 for an entire weekend by clicking here
Does my driver pass include crew members?
No, all drivers passes include driver entry to the event only. Any persons coming with a driver must have a valid admission ticket at a cost of either €30 for the weekend or €15 for Sunday-only.
Can I drive for just one day?
At the moment, only driver tickets for the full weekend will be available. If weekend tickets do not sell out, we may open up individual driver tickets for just Saturday and Sunday.
Can two people drive the same car?
If two people will be double-driving the same car for the weekend, there will be an additional charge of €75.00 for the additional driver. A double-driver pass will only be eligible for two drivers driving the same car.
Double drive payments can be made in cash or via card payment at driver sign-on at the event.
I've bought a ticket but can no longer make it; Can I change the name on mine?
Yes, driver tickets for the Drift Games Bash are non-refundable but you can transfer the ticket to someone else if they have purchased it from you, for the reason that you are legitimately no longer able to make the event.
To do so, please contact us by emailing email@example.com and let us know your order number and the name and email address to transfer the driver ticket to.
Can I hire one of the Mondello Park garages for the event?
Yes, Mondello Park's garages can be hired at a cost of €200.00 for a double-garage for the duration of the event.
To book a garage, you must call Mondello Park directly on 045 860 200 and pay for the garage via card over the phone.
What cars can be driven on track at the event?
To drive at this event, regardles of whether you'll be driving a street car or a drift car, your car must have/adhere to the following:
- Tow straps/hooks front and rear;
- Fixed back or recliner bucket seat;
- Minimum 4-point harness;
- No fluid leaks whatsoever;
- Noise level not to exceed 108db, and;
- Full body panels must on the car at the start of the weekend.
If your car does not meet the above requirements, you will not be allowed on track and you will also not receive a refund for not having your car meet the requirements for the event.
What driver requirements are there for the event?
All drivers MUST wear a full-face helmet at all times when on track, with a fully functional clasp/strap.
What age do I need to be to drive at the event?
To drive at the Drift Games Bash, you must be at least 18 years of age with a full driving license. The only exception to this is if you are an existing licensed IDC, BDC, IADC or DriftCup driver and can prove as such.
Can I take passengers in my car?
If you are planning on taking passengers at this event, your passenger seat must also be a fixed back or recliner bucket seat, with a minimum 4-point harness.
Passengers must have purchased a passenger band, signed on with relevant persons at the event and must also be wearing a full-face helmet with a fully functional clasp/strap at all times when in the car.
All passengers must be over the age of 18.
Where do I get the passenger bands?
Passenger wristbands can be purchased in Mondello Park from the Drift Games merchandise shop at the event at a cost of €20 and will not be available to purchase online before the event.
Bands purchased at the merchandise shop will only be given out after payment has been received and the purchaser has signed on.
All passengers must be over the age of 18.
All passengers are also responsible for approaching drivers and arranging passenger spins themselves.
I want to get passenger spins. Can I rent a helmet?
No, unfortunately we will not have helmets available to rent, so you will need to bring your own helmet to the event with you, or get one from a driver or someone at the event.
Might I be breathalyzed at the event?
Yes, if you are thought to be over the legal drink-drive limit, you may be breathalyzed by Mondello Park staff. If you read above the limit, you will not be allowed on track and your entry fee will not be refundable.
Will there be tyre changing services at the event?
Yes, there will be a tyre changing van present on both days of the event. Tyre changing will come at a cost of €3.00 per tyre.
I’m driving at the event. How do I enter the on-track competitions?
We’ll have more information released closer to the time of the event about how those of you who have secured driver tickets can enter our various on-track competitions.
Is there a dress code for the evening parties and the IDC awards night?
For this event, it's as casual or as formal as you like. We'll leave that up to you, but we recommend airing on the side of casual.
Will there be security on-site at this event?
Yes, we will have a full security team present throughout the entire duration of the event. As always, the security team will be focused on ensuring a safe and hassle free event for all event attendees.
Do I have to camp in a tent?
If you have a weekend camping ticket and will be camping at the event, you will be able to bring a tent, camper van or caravan to our designated camping area at the event.
Can someone set up a tent for me?
As a matter of fact, yes. The guys at Pitched Perfect are able to offer all-inclusive camping packages for the Drift Games Bash, which include weekend entry, tent (including setup), airbeds, sleeping bags and more.

Will there be power points available?
Power points are not guaranteed for any persons camping at this event, so it is advised that you make your own provisions for power should you require it.
Do you have a full event map and timetable available?
We will be working on the full event map for this event very soon and once available, we will post it on our website and social media channels.
Where can I leave my trailer?
If you are bringing your car to the event on a trailer, we will have designated trailer parking zones for the entire weekend where you will be instructed to bring your trailer to once you have unloaded your car.
How can I enter my car into the RWD-only car show?
If you wish to enter your car into the RWD-only car show at this event, either for the Saturday and/or Sunday, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
containing pictures of your car and let us know which days you wish to bring your car to.
How can I enter as media to take photos/videos trackside at the event?
