Note: This timetable is subject to change prior to the event.

Important: All drivers must arrive well before the time they are due on track in order to unload their car, move their trailer to the designated trailer parking area, sign-on for the event and attend driver briefing.

DRIVER SIGN-ON & BRIEFING

All drivers must be signed on by Drift Games staff once prior to going on track at the Drift Games Bash and all drivers must also have attended driver briefing on each day of the event that they will be driving on, i.e. you MUST attend driver briefing on BOTH days of the event. Driver sign-on and briefing will take place in Suite 8 (the Grand Prix suite) in Mondello Park.

Sign on will be at 8.00am to 8.30am Saturday morning and 9.00am to 9.30am Sunday morning. Driver briefing will be at 8.30am to 9.00am on Saturday morning and 9.30am to 10.00am.

SIGN-ON REQUIREMENTS & DRIVER TICKETS

For driver sign-on, please bring your full driving license with you and also either a printed or email copy of the confirmation email you received when you purchased your driver ticket online from the Drift Games website. This email will need to show your order number, which will be in the format of #1234-DG. This is your driver ticket for the event.

At sign-on, you will be given your driver wristband for the event to prove you have signed-on and you will also be given a unique driver number sticker that will need to be placed on the windscreen of your car.

DOUBLE-DRIVE FEES

If you and someone else will be double-driving one car at the Drift Games Bash, the cost of signing on an additional driver is €75.00. This fee is payable in cash or by card at sign-on only and both drivers must be paid, signed-on and briefed before going on track.

CAR REQUIREMENTS
To drive at this event, regardless of whether you'll be driving a street car or a drift car, your car must have/adhere to the following set of rules and regulations in order to be allowed on track:
  • Tow straps/hooks front and rear;
  • Fixed back or recliner bucket seat;
  • Minimum 4-point harness;
  • No fluid leaks whatsoever;
  • Noise level not to exceed 108db, and;
  • Full body panels must on the car at the start of the weekend.

If your car does not meet the above requirements, you will not be allowed on track and you will also not receive a refund for not having your car meet the requirements for the event.

Both Drift Games and Mondello Park marshals and staff reserve the right to check your car at any time if they feel your car does not meet one or all of the requirements above and if they deem your car to be unfit to go on track, you will be removed from the track either until the car is fixed or for the rest of the event. Again, you will also not receive a refund for not having your car meet the requirements for the event.

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

All drivers MUST wear a full-face helmet at all times when on track, with a fully functional clasp/strap. Your car must also meet the car requirements as set out above.

BRINGING PASSENGERS

If you are planning on taking passengers at this event, your passenger seat must also be a fixed back or recliner bucket seat, with a minimum 4-point harness.

Passengers must have purchased a passenger band from the Drift Games merchandise shop at a cost of €20.00 for the weekend, have signed on when purchasing the passenger band and must also be wearing a full-face helmet with a fully functional clasp/strap at all times when in the car.

All passengers must also be over the age of 18.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

If you are thought to be over the legal drink-drive limit, you may be breathalyzed by Mondello Park staff. If you read above the limit, you will not be allowed on track and your entry fee will not be refundable.

If you are thought to be under the influence of any illegal drugs or substances and are attempting to go on track, you will also not be allowed on track and your entry fee will not be refundable.

You are also reminded that drugs are illegal and are not, under any circumstances to be brought onto or taken by any individual onto the Mondello Park premises. If any person is found to be in possession of such substances, the decision may be taken to involve the Gardaí in the matter.

TYRE CHANGING FACILITIES

Tyre changing facilities will be available from 9.00am on each day of the event and will come at a cost of €3 per tyre change. Please make sure you have tyres on rims before coming to Mondello Park and are not relying on getting tires sorted at 9.00am, as this will cause a backlog.

STARTING OF VEHICLES

No cars are to be started before 9.00am on both mornings of the event or after 6.00pm. Doing so may result in you being removed from the event without any chance of refund.

COMPETITION ENTRY

As you will have seen, there will be a number of competitions taking place on track across the 2 days of the Drift Games Bash. A number of these competitions are open for any drivers with a driver entry ticket to take part in, providing they have pre-registered an entry for the competitions.

Team Drift Competition

The team drift competition is open to any 4 drivers, with driver entry tickets, who want to register a team for the competition.

Street Car Competition

The team drift competition is open to any driver, with a driver entry ticket, who has never before competed in a competitive drift series (such as IDC, IADC, BDC, DriftCup, NI Drift, Ultimate Drift Series etc.) before and their car must be a non-IDC spec car.

LITTERING & OIL SPILLS

It is not permitted for any driver, passenger or spectator to litter or spill oil/fluid at any point throughout the event. Any litter (including used tyres) or fluid discovered will result in a €250 fine, with no exceptions.

PADDOCK CONDUCT

Testing of cars, donuts, drifting or fast driving of any sort in the paddock is not permitted at any time by any driver. Doing so may result in your removal from the event without refund.

This is for public safety and as such all drivers MUST obey by this rule at all times.

CREW TICKETS

All drivers passes include entry to the event for the driver only. Any persons or crew coming with a driver must have a valid admission ticket at a cost of either €30 for the weekend or €15 for Sunday-only. 

CREW RESPONSIBILITY

All drivers who are driving at the Drift Games Bash are directly responsible for the conduct of any crew, family members or friends who are with them at the event.

If any persons with a driver are deemed to be disturbing the peace, drunk and disorderly or are causing trouble at the event, they will be removed from the event and your driver ticket for the event will also be revoked, with no chance of refund. 

DRIVER TICKET NAME CHANGE

Driver tickets for the Drift Games Bash are non-refundable but you can transfer the ticket to someone else if they have purchased it from you, for the reason that you are legitimately no longer able to make the event.

To do so, please contact us by emailing hey@driftgames.life and let us know your order number and the name and email address to transfer the driver ticket to. 

TRAILER PARKING

The trailer parking area for this event will be behind the Mondello Park workshop, towards the Gate 1 and Mobil 1 corner area.

Upon arriving at the event, please unload your car from your trailer as quickly as possible and then please bring your trailer to the designated trailer parking area right away.

If you are unsure as to where the trailer parking area is, please contact a member of staff and they will be happy to direct you to this area.

GARAGE BOOKINGS

Mondello Park's garages can be hired at a cost of €200.00 for a double-garage for the duration of the event. Each double-garage is capable of holding 3-4 cars.

To book a garage, you must call Mondello Park directly on 045 860 200 and pay for the garage by card over the phone.
