ROUND 1 – MONDELLO PARK – APRIL 20TH & 21ST, 2019
This is no longer a traditional drift event. The Link ECU Drift Games Extreme is bringing a brand new style of competition to Mondello Park at Modified Live. Faster, louder, sharper and more entertaining, our premiere event will throw out the pre-conceived stereotypes and increase the excitement!
Modified Live is the first event of the car show season and brings those winter projects out of hibernation. With Ireland’s best drifters, show cars and numerous new attractions, this opener is unmissable for car enthusiasts.
ROUND 2 – DÚN LAOGHAIRE – MAY 11TH & 12TH, 2019
The trilogy is actually happening! After the projected sale of the Dún Laoghaire ferry terminal fell through early this year, we couldn’t see the most picturesque venue on the calendar sit vacant in 2019, could we?
Now that we are in bonus time, the gloves are off! We think a new layout with more speed and danger has to be on the cards. With numerous additional attractions added, we are taking it up a notch on the docks!
ROUND 3 – MONDELLO PARK – JUNE 1ST & 2ND, 2019
Retromania recaptures the automotive world as it was in the 80’s and 90’s. From old school touring car races, to Group B rallying and old-school builds, we are going back to a time when the combustion engine was being pushed to its limits.
Combine this nostalgia with an 80’s throwback party and 90’s tribute bands, and you have a festival any petrolhead can enjoy.
Link ECU Drift Games Extreme drivers will also be pitted against the very best of the British Drift Championship in a winner-takes-all grudge match for dominance.
ROUND 4 – PUNCHESTOWN – AUGUST 25TH, 2019
A nationwide celebration of motoring passion in all its forms, the 2019 Irish Motor Festival offers a unique and engaging motoring experience for enthusiasts, families, and fans.
Encompassing all aspects of car culture, this event showcases the best automotive variety Ireland has to offer. The biggest drift weekender of the year, cars of all types and origins, manufacturer displays and much more.
This show represents all that is good within the car scene in Ireland. Petrolhead heaven in Punchestown this August.
ROUND 5 – MONDELLO PARK – SEPTEMBER 21ST & 22ND, 2019
Not content with being Ireland’s biggest car show, JAPFEST 2019 now aims for the title of ‘biggest drift event in the world’ as the Link ECU Drift Games Extreme concludes an incredible year of action alongside the Drift Masters GP European championship.
45 of Europe’s best drivers, representing 20 nations, will invade Mondello Park to fight the Irish on the infamous and highly dangerous ‘Global Warfare’ layout. Not for the faint-hearted!
