Welcome to the drift party of the year!

The most infamous drift event in Ireland returns, but this time EVERYTHING is bigger, badder and more extreme.

2 days of constant track time, 100 drivers, 4 layouts, multiple competitions, passenger rides and more drift action than a normal human can even handle. Not to mention the craziest afterparty of the year. If you have never been, just ask anyone who has!

Driver tickets for the 2019 Drift Games Bash go on sale at 12.00pm midday on Friday, September 13th, 2019 on the Drift Games online shop at a cost of €250.00 for a 2-day weekend driving ticket. Double-driving of the same car is allowed and a double-driving ticket will cost €325.00 for the weekend, an additional €75.00 over a single-driver ticket.

When purchasing a driver ticket, you must provide the name of the driver(s) who will be driving at the event. You must also ensure both the driver and the car being driven abide by the below rules, which must be met in order to drive at this event. 

Car Regulations:

All vehicles being used at this Drift Games Bash must have:

  • Tow straps/hooks front and rear;
  • Fixed back or recliner bucket seat;
  • Minimum 4-point harness;
  • No fluid leaks whatsoever;
  • Noise level not to exceed 105db, and;
  • Full body panels on the car at the start of the weekend.

Any driver wishing to be in the Pro class must ensure their car also has a full roll-cage with door bars, in addition to the above car regulations.

Driver Regulations:

All drivers who intend on driving at the event must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older with a full driving license, or;
  • Be a currently licensed DGN, DGX, IDC, BDC, IADC or DriftCup driver, and;
  • Must wear a full-face helmet at all times when on track, with a fully functional clasp/strap.

Driver Classes:

Before you hit the track, you will be placed into either Hero or Pro class. You must have a full roll cage with door bars in place to enter the Pro class. 

Hero Class:
Want to hit our various layouts without the fear of being surrounded by other cars? The hero class is perfect for beginners, drivers of cars with less than 220bhp or those with purpose-built drift cars that do not meet the full safety requirements of the Pro class.

Pro Class:
Do you compete in a series and have a car that meets all competition regulations? Well, say hello to endless high-speed door on door action in the Pro class.

Spectator Tickets

Spectator tickets for the Drift Games Bash are available now on Mondello Park’s website and are priced at the prices mentioned below. Tickets will also be available at the gate on all days of the event.

  • 1 Person Weekend Admission: €50 (inc. camping Sunday Night)
  • 2 Person Weekend Admission: €75 (inc. camping Sunday Night)
  • Sunday-Only Admission: €15
  • Monday-Only Admission: €15

Anyone wishing to camp at the event can camp in a tent, camper van or caravan, which must be placed in the tented village area of Mondello Park. Camping in the Mondello Park paddock and garages is not permitted.

Passenger Bands & Requirements

If you are a spectator wishing to get purchase a weekend passenger band at the Drift Games Bash, you must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older, and;
  • Have purchased a weekend passenger band from the Drift Games Merchandise stall and have signed on, and;
  • Must wear a full-face helmet at all times when on track, with a fully functional clasp/strap.
  • Helmets will not be provided to you. You must provide your own helmet. 

Any driver whose car, and both their driver and passenger seats meet the required regulations for this event, will be able to take passengers all throughout the weekend, once the passengers themselves meet the passenger requirements outlined above.

Passenger wristbands can be purchased in Mondello Park on both days of the event from the Drift Games merchandise shop at a cost of €20 for the entire weekend and will not be available to purchase online before the event.

Bands purchased at the merchandise shop will only be given out after payment has been received and the purchaser has signed on. All passengers must be over the age of 18 and all passengers are also responsible for approaching drivers and arranging passenger spins themselves.

Unfortunately, we will not have helmets available to rent, so you will need to bring your own helmet to the event with you, or get one from someone at the event.

What is the Drift Games Bash?
The Drift Games Bash is the most infamous drift party in Ireland, featuring 2 days of constant track time, 4 insane layouts, passenger rides, night parties and more drift action than a normal human can even handle! 

When and where is the Drift Games Bash?
The Drift Games Bash event will take place in Mondello Park on Sunday October 27th & Monday 28th, 2019. You will be able to arrive from 7.00am to 7.30am if you’ve purchased a driver entry ticket, or from 9.00am if you have purchased a spectator ticket, on Sunday, 27th October 2019 and you can camp on Sunday night only.

Where can I get spectator tickets?
Spectator tickets will available on Mondello Park’s website from 12.00pm on Monday, September 23rd 2019 and will be priced at €50 for a one-person weekend camping ticket, €75 for a two-person weekend camping ticket and €15 for a Sunday- or Monday-only spectator ticket. Kids under 12 go free. 

Spectator tickets will also be available at the gate in Mondello Park on both days of the event. Anyone purchasing a general admission ticket for one day only must leave Mondello Park by 6.30pm once the relevant day’s track action has ended.

Is there an age limit for this event?
Sole attendees MUST be 18 years of age or older to camp at this event. If you are under 18, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times if you are attending the event. Camping at the event is not permitted for persons under 18 years of age,

What about driver passes?
Driver entry tickets go on sale at 12.00pm noon on Friday, September 13th, 2019 and are priced at €250.00 for a single driver weekend driving ticket or €325.00 for a double-driving ticket, which allows 2 drivers, both of whom must meet the driver regulations, to drive the same car at the event.

Does my driver pass include crew members?
No, all drivers passes include driver entry to the event only. Any persons coming with a driver must have a valid spectator admission ticket at the costs mentioned above.

Can I drive for just one day?
No, you are unable to purchase a driver ticket for just one day. Driver passes are available for both days of the event only. 

Can two people drive the same car?
If two people will be double-driving the same car for the weekend, there will be an additional charge of €75.00 for the additional driver. A double-driver pass will only be eligible for two drivers driving the same car. You can add on the double-driving option when paying for your driver entry ticket.

I’ve bought a ticket but can no longer make it; Can I change the name on mine?
Yes, driver tickets for the Drift Games Bash are non-refundable but you can transfer the ticket to someone else if they have purchased it from you, for the reason that you are legitimately no longer able to make the event. 

To do so, please contact us by emailing bash@driftgames.life and let us know your order number and the name and email address to transfer the driver ticket to.

Can I hire one of the Mondello Park garages for the event?
Yes, a total of just 10 double garages are available to hire for the Drift Games Bash and garages cost €300.00 for a full garage (fits 3-4 cars) or €150.00 for a half garage (fits 2 cars). To book a garage please click the garage rentals link at the top of the page.

What cars can be driven on track at the event?
To drive at this event, regardless of whether you’ll be driving in the Hero class or the Pro class, your car must have/adhere to the following:

  • Tow straps/hooks front and rear;
  • Fixed back or recliner bucket seat;
  • Minimum 4-point harness;
  • No fluid leaks whatsoever;
  • Noise level not to exceed 105db, and;
  • Full body panels on the car at the start of the weekend.

Any driver wishing to be in the Pro class must ensure their car also has a full roll-cage with door bars, in addition to the above car regulations.

If your car does not meet the above requirements, you will not be allowed on track and you will also not receive a refund for not having your car meet the requirements for the event.

What driver requirements are there for the event?
All drivers who intend on driving at the event must:

What age do I need to be to drive at the event?
To drive at the Drift Games Bash, you must be at least 18 years of age with a full driving license. The only exception to this is if you are an existing licensed DGN, DGX, IDC, BDC, IADC or DriftCup driver and can prove as such.

Can I take passengers in my car?
If you are planning on taking passengers at this event, your passenger seat must also be a fixed back or recliner bucket seat, with a minimum 4-point harness. Passengers must have purchased a passenger band, signed on with relevant persons at the event and must also be wearing a full-face helmet with a fully functional clasp/strap at all times when in the car.

All passengers must be over the age of 18.

I want to get passenger spins. Can I rent a helmet?
No, unfortunately, we will not have helmets available to rent, so you will need to bring your own helmet to the event with you, or get one from someone at the event.

Might I be breathalyzed at the event?
Yes, if you are thought to be over the legal drink-drive limit, you may be breathalyzed by Mondello Park staff. If you read above the limit, you will not be allowed on track and your entry fee will not be refundable.

Will there be tire changing services at the event?
Yes, there will be a tire changing van present on both days of the event. Tire changing will come at a cost of €3.00 per tire.

Will there be security on-site at this event?
Yes, we will have a full security team present throughout the entire duration of the event. As always, the security team will be focused on ensuring a safe and hassle-free event for all event attendees.

Do I have to camp in a tent?
If you have a weekend camping ticket and will be camping at the event, you will be able to bring a tent, campervan or caravan to our designated camping area at the event. Camping is not permitted in the Mondello Park garages or paddock.

Will there be power points available?
Power points are not guaranteed for any persons camping or driving at this event, so it is advised that you make your own provisions for power should you require it.

Where can I leave my trailer?
If you are bringing your car to the event on a trailer, please unload your car as quickly as possible and move your trailer to turn 3 of Mondello Park. On the morning of the event, a Drift Games marshal will direct you as to the exact location of the trailer parking section.

How can I enter as media to take photos/videos trackside at the event?
