Ready to drive? The Drift Games Bash is BACK!

It’s time to get excited everyone, because on February 16th & 17th, the most infamous drift party in Ireland, the Drift Games Bash returns with the first-ever Drift Games Spring Break Bash … but this time EVERYTHING is bigger, badder and more extreme than ever before! 

2 days of constant track time, 4 insane layouts (including a scale replica of the infamous Meihan circuit) the 2019 Drift Games Nationals (DGN) Licensing competition, Drift Games Extreme (DGX) car reveals, passenger rides, night parties and more drift action than a normal human can even handle – what’s not to love?!

OR, maybe you don’t fancy waiting over a month to hit the track? Well then, why not go drifting this weekend at the next instalment of the Winter Drift Games series, which takes place in Mondello Park this Sunday, January 20th?

Driver tickets are on sale now on the Mondello Park website for just €150.00, giving you the perfect chance to shred some tires in just 5 days time.

Spectator entry to Winter Drift Games is also just €10.00 on the gate this Sunday, so make sure you stick it in your calendar and get on down to Mondello Park. With spectator bands available all day long, there’s definitely no better way to spend a Sunday.

What are the requirements for this Sunday’s Winter Drift Games you ask? Check them out below.

Car Regulations:

All vehicles being used at Winter Drift Games must have:

  • Tow straps/hooks front and rear;
  • Fixed back or recliner bucket seat;
  • Minimum 4-point harness;
  • No fluid leaks whatsoever;
  • Noise level not to exceed 105db, and;
  • Full body panels on the car at the start of the weekend.

Any driver wishing to be in the Pro class must ensure their car also has a full roll-cage, in addition to the above car regulations.

Driver Regulations:

All drivers who intend on driving at the event must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older with a full driving license, or;
  • Be a currently licensed DGN, DGX, IDC, BDC, IADC or DriftCup driver, and;
  • Must wear a full-face helmet at all times when on track, with a fully functional clasp/strap.

Passenger Requirements:

If you are a spectator wishing to get a passenger spin at Winter Drift Games, you must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older, and;
  • Have purchased a passenger band from the Mondello Park race control tower and have signed on, and;
  • Must wear a full-face helmet at all times when on track, with a fully functional clasp/strap.
